The purpose of homework is to practice skills necessary for success in the pursuit of life-long learning.
Homework every week is to read daily for at least 20 minutes, complete two half-page reading responses, accomplish three nights of math homework, and finish two spelling activities.
Spelling homework will include a differentiated word list especially for your child and will begin week 3.
Reading comprehension activities and spelling homework are due on Friday. Math homework will be reviewed daily in class.
